Prohibited & restricted items

Before you publish, check this list. Items fall into three groups: things Canadian law forbids selling, things our shipping carriers won't carry, and things we simply don't allow on the platform.

Sellers confirm their item is allowed before their first listing goes public. Listing a prohibited item can lead to the listing being removed, the order being cancelled and refunded, and — for repeated or serious violations — the account being suspended.

Some items are legal to own but restricted to sell or ship — for example knives that are legal but look like prohibited weapons, vintage items containing materials that are now restricted, or collectibles with age limits. When in doubt, don't list it, or ask us first at admin@sellanything.ca.
