Terms of Service

1. The service

SellAnything.ca helps you photograph, identify, describe, price, and list items for sale. It provides AI-assisted drafting, comparable-research tools, an optional public marketplace on SellAnything.ca, and copy-and-export tools for third-party marketplaces. Features and availability may change over time; we will avoid changes that materially reduce the value of the service without notice.

2. Your account

• You must provide a valid email address and keep your sign-in credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.

3. AI output and seller responsibility

• All AI-generated identifications, descriptions, categories, and price suggestions are drafts. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting them before using them anywhere.
• We do not guarantee item identification, valuation, market demand, sale price, or acceptance on any marketplace.
• You are solely responsible for the legality, ownership, condition disclosure, taxes, shipping, and marketplace-rule compliance of anything you list or sell.

4. Marketplace relationships

• SellAnything.ca is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with eBay, Poshmark, Meta / Facebook, or Etsy.
• SellAnything.ca does not automatically post listings to any third-party marketplace. Posting is copy or export driven by you, and you are responsible for complying with each marketplace's own terms.
• Transactions that result from listings on the SellAnything.ca marketplace are between you and the buyer. We are not a party to those transactions and do not handle payment, shipping, returns, or disputes.

5. Your content

• You retain ownership of the photographs and text you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the service — including displaying listings you choose to publish publicly.
• You represent that you own or have the right to upload everything you submit, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

6. Acceptable use

• No abusive, illegal, or unauthorized use of the service.
• No scraping of the service, no attempts to bypass rate limits, and no attempts to access other users' workspaces.
• No uploading of malware, illegal content, stolen goods, or content you do not have the right to upload.
• No listing of items that are prohibited by law from being sold.

7. Limitation of liability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SellAnything.ca is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, AI output, comparable research, marketplace outcomes, or transactions with buyers.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that pose risk to the service or other users. You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time (see our Data & account requests page).

9. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes to these terms, we will update the effective date above and notify active users through the app or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
